The Hexathon officially begins on Sunday, July 1st at 12:01 AM PDT (GMT-7) and ends on July 31st at Midnight PDT.
FlobberWorm is quoted about the "Bragging Rights"
"Let me first say that I have been blown away by the generosity that has been shown by members of the Hexic Community, not only in the amount of "bragging rights" that have been donated, but also shown in an incredibly generous gesture by the Hexic King/Chief/Madgod/etc...! (more on that later)
So without further adieu... the total "Bragging Rights" donated by the Hexic Community is: 10,100 !!!!
Everyone that has participated in the Hexathon owes a great deal of thanks to:

Now, per the official rules the Bragging Rights are to be distributed in a 50/25/25 split. However, this is NOT how they will be distributed. The official breakdown will be as follows:
Tier 1: 3,200*
Tier 2 winner: 3,700**
Tier 3 winner: 3,200
* Tier 1 prize will be awarded to the player that comes closest to the unbelievable score that oldtaco has already put up !!! Why? oldtaco has informed me that he will NOT accept the Bragging Rights for Tier 1! He has suggested that they be given to the player that comes closest to his current score (oldtaco will not be playing anymore Hexic until the Hexathon ends). So c'mon Tier 1 players... you've got 3.5 days to crank out the MMC's!
** Why is Tier 2 worth more than Tier 1 now? If the math worked out, I would have gladly split up the remaining "rights" in half, but since they don't I had to make the call. No offense to the Tier 3 competitors, but imo the Tier 2 players earn a little something more for conquering the toughest thing to do in this game - the MMC."
Tier 1
The winner of Tier 1 will be the player that accumulates the most points IN A SINGLE GAME during the Hexathon. Players DO NOT need to start a new game on July 1st.
- Submit a link to a picture (in the Hexathon Thread at Xbox.com) of your current game score on July 1st. This picture MUST be of the entire screen and include a handwritten note that has your name and date written on it.
Example from the TDA IV.
- Your game must still be going at the end of the Hexathon (verified by a 2nd full screen picture with the handwritten note on July 31st)!
- The winner will be determined by subtracting your score on July 31st from your score on July 1st. (If you run into some bad luck and lose your game after the start of the Hexathon you CAN start over… however, you will need to notify all contestants via a picture that you have started over)

Tier 2
Players that have successfully completed the Pooh-Bah but have not completed an MMC will compete in Tier 2.
The winner of Tier 2 will be the player that improves their leaderboard score the most during the Hexathon. Players MUST start their game ON July 1st.
- Submit a link to a picture of your ENTIRE screen on July 1st, include in the picture a handwritten note showing your name and the date! You must ALSO include a picture of your leaderboard score on July 1st.
- Submit a picture of your leaderboard score on July 31st, once again including a handwritten note and date in your picture.
- The winner will be the player that improves their score the most ON A PERCENTAGE BASIS*.
*For example: Player A has a high score of 3 Million on July 1st, while Player B has a high score of 4.5 Million. On July 31st, Player A’s new high score is 45 Million while Player B’s new high score is 50 Million. Player A’s score increased 1,500% (45M/3M) while Player B’s score increased 1,111% (50M/4.5M) – Player A would be the winner.

- Verification WILL BE DONE of each Tier 3 participant that the Pooh-Bah has not yet been achieved on July 1st! If it is discovered you already have the PB you will be automatically moved to Tier 2.
